Gore is the gateway to Southland's rural heartland and offers an ideal base from which to explore all that the region has to offer. Gore is readily accessible by main highways from Dunedin, Invercargill, Te Anau, Queenstown and Alexandra. 2 hours to snow skiing, trout fishing, sea fishing, adventure capital of NZ, Fiordland National Park, vintage aircraft restoration, premier wine growing areas.

The Eastern Southland Newcomers Group meets weekly for coffee, & other activities & events from time to time, please join us, we would love to meet you!
