Kia ora – my name is Cate Barry, and I started the New Coasters Westport group about 3 years ago. With so many families moving into our region and the work pile growing, I now have the support of Liz as the joint co-ordinator for the group. I was born and grew up on the West Coast, but did have a few years away where I lived and worked in Christchurch and when we could - enjoyed some world travel. I have been back in Westport for 5 years so our children could enjoy a slower pace of life and grow up with family around them. We look forward to welcoming you to the Buller.

Hi, my name is Liz Sugrue, I am the joint co-ordinator of the Westport New Coasters group. I have lived in Westport for two years and we were in Christchurch for 10 years before that. I am originally from South Africa, have married a Kiwi and we have two children. Being part of the New Coasters group has made settling in to Westport so much easier and lots of fun. We hope you give us a call and come and meet us for a coffee and a chat.
