About us

Morrinsville is situated between the Kaimai Ranges and the Waikato River. Set on easy rolling terrain, surrounded by some of the best farmland in New Zealand.

Hi, my name is Peter.  I moved to Morrinsville in May of 2022 with my wife and 2 kids.

I was looking to meet people in the area but found the Newcomers group had been dormant for some time due to Covid and a bout of poor health of Bev, the original coordinator. I set about restarting the meetings at Ronnies Café and we're now back up and running. 

If you are looking to make some new friends, or just a casual chat and coffee, come along and join us at 11am on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at Ronnies Café, 231 Thames Street.
