Napier Newcomers Network
We are all trying to help prevent the spread of Covid19 so our activities and events will be on hold for a while.
Due to Covid19 our activities and events will be suspended for the time being.
You can still join our Networks through 'Join Us' - and we will connect by way of email. That way we can add you to the mailing list, so we can keep you updated when activities will start again.
In the meantime, take good care, avoid close contact with others, especially with the elderly, wash your hands well and often and be kind to yourself and others.
Hawke’s Bay is large enough to have a vibrant, energetic community and small enough to care. We hope you enjoy our cities, take part in our community celebrations and settle happily in our country.
The Hawkes Bay Newcomers group has regular meetings in Napier & Hastings, we would love you to join us!

Our Coordinator: Heather
I was born in the South (of New Zealand) and after 15 years overseas I returned to New Zealand, and, more specifically, Hawke’s Bay. Living and working in other countries has helped me understand what culture means and has led to my interest in ESOL (English for Speakers of other Languages) teaching. It has also meant that I have often been a Newcomer – either to a country or, in the case of my own country) to a region. I am delighted to be part of the Newcomers Network assisting with activities and connections.
The Newcomers Network here in the Bay organises activities and links you into different groups and initiatives. We are happy to help you meet others who share your interests and to make connections. Please join us, we would LOVE to meet you!
