Jude - Blenheim Newcomers Network

Kia Ora Koutou, hello everyone!

My name is Jude and I am your Newcomers Network Coordinator for Blenheim. I moved here with my young family in 2014 and work part-time at the Marlborough Migrant Centre. Previously, I’ve worked in television and also spent many years working for children’s charities, human rights organisations and international aid agencies in New Zealand and overseas. I’ve assisted refugees to resettle in New Zealand and am passionate about enabling people to celebrate and share their diversity and culture.

Marlborough is a beautiful region with a lot to do and a diverse mixture of people. I’m enjoying life here and have met many friendly people through the Marlborough Newcomers Network. We welcome anyone from New Zealand or overseas who is new to our region and would like to meet new people and get some help settling in to life here.
