Whangarei Newcomers Network
We are all trying to help prevent the spread of Covid19 so our activities and events will be on hold for a while.
Due to Covid19 our activities and events will be suspended for the time being.
You can still join our Networks through 'Join Us' - and we will connect by way of email. That way we can add you to the mailing list, so we can keep you updated when activities will start again.
In the meantime, take good care, avoid close contact with others, especially with the elderly, wash your hands well and often and be kind to yourself and others.
Whangarei is a developing, modern and vibrant city in the centre of a district of fertile farmlands, orchards and forest, plus a stunning harbour and coastline with some of New Zealand’s finest beaches.
The Whangarei Newcomers group holds a monthly lunch on the last Friday of every month at the Whangarei Migrant Centre, & other activities from time to time, please come & join us!

We are coordinating the Whangarei Newcomers Network. My name is Justine Macatangay and I arrived in New Zealand a year and a half ago from the Philippines.
Through this network, we will help you with settlement support information, immigration advice, invitation to monthly activities, workshops, as well as connecting you to other services and people in Whangarei.
We aim to keep you updated through this page, as well as through our Facebook page www.facebook.com/multiculturalwhangarei/
Please do connect with us through email [email protected] or by phone to 09 430-0571.
