Our Coordinator: Christine
Hello and welcome to the Waitaki Newcomers Network.
My name is Christine Dorsey and along with some fantastic volunteers, I run the newcomers group which has been operating since 2012. This service has helped hundreds of families to settle into their new community and make new friends. Currently over 480 families are involved and we invite you to be part of this. Just click “Join Now” and we will be in touch. There is no obligation, just attend whatever you choose or even just receive the information so you know what is happening around Waitaki.
I’ve lived in Oamaru with my husband and two daughters for a long time and I have lots of local information to share. I also understand what it is like to settle in a new community and would love to walk this exciting journey with you, as you forge new friendships and new beginnings. Give me a call today on 027 242 8643.
