Hamilton/Waikato Newcomers Network

We are all trying to help prevent the spread of Covid19 so our activities and events will be on hold for a while.

Due to Covid19 our activities and events will be suspended for the time being.

You can still join our Networks through 'Join Us' - and we will connect by way of email. That way we can add you to the mailing list, so we can keep you updated when activities will start again.

In the meantime, take good care, avoid close contact with others, especially with the elderly, wash your hands well and often and be kind to yourself and others.

Our Coordinator: Anne-lise

Anne-lise welcomes you to the Waikato Newcomer’s Network! Hamilton is a bustling and thriving city with the beautiful Waikato River at its heart. While our city is growing, it’s still able to retain that friendly feel. We are connected with our communities and embrace the diversity of our people.

The Waikato Newcomers Network is based at the Settlement Centre Waikato on Boundary Road, Hamilton East. We arrange informal, social gatherings at the Centre as well as in and around Hamilton.

I am a French Girl who recently settled in Hamilton. Working in the centre gives me the opportunity to work with many different migrants and refugee communities. I am passionate about travels, cultures and foreign languages. My hobbies are dancing, music and outdoors activities.

I would love to get to know you at our next gathering. I look forward to hearing from you!
